On Saturday, July 15 over 100 people attended our Food, Fun & Fireworks event, open to the public. Some more showed up around 9PM for just the fireworks. Italian Kitchen of Pennsville was the caterer. People enjoyed yard games like corn-hole, horse shoes, croquet, bocce and frisbee. One group of friends used the opportunity to play their favorite card game after dinner.
We loved seeing the berm lined with lawn chairs! The weather was absolutely perfect for a summer evening of chilling at The Inn. Low humidity, a nice breeze, beautiful sunset – what else could we wish for?
Around dusk the fire pit was lit for s’mores and then Delaware City put up a nice Firework from across the river. To complement that show, most of the crowd so an awesome shooting star! Mother Nature rules!
