Venue Rental
Salem River Inn is a private venue, surrounded by a nature preserve. Our waterfront location is scenic and offers serene views with gorgeous sunsets. Enjoy your special event with the spectacular views that our River Deck provides! With a wooden ceiling, bamboo floor and neutral colors, our venue lends itself perfectly to be decorated or use as is, in its own beauty. We only host one event per day and the venue is yours for the duration. So that you can enjoy your event as much, or evenmore than your guests, we make it as easy as possible for you when renting our venue!
Prior to the event you work with an event planner to decide on a floor plan, linen colors and to advise you on decorations.
During the event, a server will assist you from ½ hour before the start of the event until ½ hour after the event. The server will help setup the buffet, serve food, maintain the buffet, bus the tables and cleanup. This way you can truly enjoy your event with your guests!
After the event we handle the trash removal.
We offer our beautiful space not only for wedding receptions, but also for birthday parties, class reunions, dinner functions, bridal showers, baby showers and almost any other life event you can think of.
Our modern and light great room can also host your corporate meetings, dinner functions, and luncheons up to 75 guests. Based on your needs and number of participants, we can provide setups in U-shape, classroom or boardroom.During daytime breaks, participants can take a leisurely stroll on the 2-mile stretch beach right in front of The Inn. We have a large side yard and backyard with beach. Our yard and grounds lend themselves perfectly for a leisurely stroll or backyard games.
Rates
Facilities rental for a day-time event ending no later than 6PM, $975 for up to 40 guests, additional guests $13.50pp.
Facilities rental for events ending after 6PM, $1125 for up to 40 guests, additional guests $13.50pp.
Included in Rental Offer:
- Facilities rental for 4 hours
- 2 hours for setup and
- 1 hour for cleanup
- Server for 5 hours (Additional hours $50/hour)
- Event planner
- Linen in color of your choice, for all tables
- Bartender
Additional Charges:
- Soft drinks, water, ice @ $3.00pp
- Coffee/tea station from $39.95
- Trash removal @ $29
- Chair covers, including sash @ $5.50/each

Our Preferred Vendors
You can work with a caterer, bring your own food or a combination of the two. Some caterers provide linen in their packages, or you can rent the linens via us. Ask for linen rental pricing!

I cannot recommend the Salem River Inn enough. I planned a birthday party from FL and Yvonne was absolutely amazing, from start to finish! She gave me all the recommendations for vendors and was spot on with all her choices. She was very organized and professional throughout the entire process. You can tell that she and Jim love their little piece of heaven and take great pride in making it beautiful for their guests. Yvonne added the little touches to make the party so special for the birthday girl. All of our guests loved how beautiful the venue was, and the location on the river was breathtaking.
