What a lovely weekend we had! A wedding, a 50th wedding anniversary luncheon and a baby shower. So much happiness in such a short time frame.
So Friday’s highlight was the wedding of Samantha Allen and Zach Faux. Samantha and her aunt Chrystal found us after a long search for a venue, fitting the bride’s wedding vision. The Inn is definitely not a ballroom, nor a barn. It’s a unique building with its own hygge atmosphere, great indoor/outdoor options, lots of windows and an awesome looking ceiling. When Sam & Chrystal walked in, they knew they found what Sam had been looking for! The happy couple live in Florida, but celebrated the wedding here in New Jersey with their friends and family. Congratulations once again!
Then on Saturday, we had a surprise 50th wedding anniversary luncheon. The couple actually got married at the old Salem Country Club on June 9, 1968! There were tears, lots of laughs and dancing feet throughout the afternoon.
On Sunday Emily and Chuck Flickinger had their baby shower at The Inn. Do you remember them? They got married here on May 6 of last year! Emily and Chuck were our first marrying couple and now they are awaiting the birth of their baby girl.
Congratulations Emily and Chuck! It was great to see you all here again.
