Spring Weddings In Full Swing!

Our weekend started on Friday with the annual shad dinner of the Salem County Bar Association, catered by Rode’s Catering. The shad dinner tradition of the Bar Association dates back to the old Salem Country Club, where the shad was prepared in front of the huge fireplace.

Then on Saturday we enjoyed seeing Jillian & Bill getting married. They booked our venue before our opening last year. Jill walked down the aisle to the arch, hand in hand with her sons Lukas and Nathan. The ceremony included an empty chair for loved ones who passed and a butterfly release, which resulted in several butterflies clinging to Jill’s dress! The wedding reception catering was in the professional hands of Italian Kitchen.

Another beautiful wedding took place on Sunday, when Brandi & Larry said their ‘I do’s’ under a driftwood arch in the Great Room. Their wedding reception was also catered by Italian Kitchen and ended with an ‘after party’ in the Tower Suite. The happy couple spent the night here as well and left the next day after enjoying breakfast on the porch.
