Last Saturday we checked the weather app many times to make sure Christine & Eric could have their outdoor wedding ceremony as planned. Our Plan-B-arch was ready to be set up indoors if needed. But it looked promising for the 5PM scheduled event, with only 15% chance of rain… until the wind shifted and picked up drastically around 4PM. Dark gray clouds were the backdrop for their first look pictures. The guests arrived and Christine confidently told me: “We go for it!”
Five minutes earlier than planned, Christine was guided to the arch accompanied by the DJ’s music and loud thunder. The officiant shortened the ceremony a bit and shortly after Christine & Eric were pronounced husband and wife, water poured from the sky.
After dinner, the party got started with great music by DJ Moose and the dance floor was filled until the last song. The couple spent their wedding night in the Tower Suite and enjoyed breakfast on our porch the next morning with Paige & Kyle.
