Wake up next to the Delaware River!
The Inn is a beautiful B&B and venue, right on the banks of the Delaware River. Located in the Delaware Bay, this is a Birdwatchers paradise, with bald eagles and seasonal ospreys foraging for fish from the Delaware River. The eagles often enjoy their catch in one of the large riverside trees on our property. The adjacent Wildlife Management Area is preserved as a habitat for grassland birds.
In season (March – April), Elsinboro is very popular for Stripe Bass Fishing. Make your reservations early so you can fish all day long at your heart’s content. You can walk out of The Inn and onto the beach with all your gear.
A beautiful porch provides the perfect setting for rocking chair conversations or reading a good book. The riverside deck allows you to fully enjoy the sunsets. On cooler nights, the modern fireplace adds to the ambiance and your comfort.
With just two B&B rooms and a Tower Suite, this feels like your private retreat! On days that we have events, the rooms are often booked by people attending that event. Make sure you mention that you attend an event at The Inn, because you will receive 20% discount on the standard room rate. The Bed & Breakfast is a smoke free environment. There are designated outside smoke areas on the premises. Our large rooms are situated on the 2nd floor, with private bathrooms and beautiful, unique views.
All rooms have a private bathroom and are equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. The Tower Suite has a small kitchenette, a living room and a large balcony. The River Room has a balcony as well. The River and Meadow room have an Amazon TV, and there is free WiFi. The Meadow Room has 1 queen size bed, the River Room has 2 queen size beds and the Tower Suite has a kingsize bed and a couch/pullout.

Tower Suite
The Tower Suite is the crème de la crème with views all around. It has a living area, kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom and a large balcony. You can venture up into the tower to enjoy the vistas all around from the 3rd floor viewing area & balcony.
$250/night (+6.625% NJ sales tax +5% hotel tax).
River Room
The River Room (16′ x 20′) with a private balcony overlooks the Delaware river and Elsinboro beach. Enjoy magnificent sunsets on the West coast of New Jersey.
$195/night (+6.625% NJ sales tax +5% hotel tax).
The Meadow Room
The Meadow room measures 16′ x 20′ and offers great sunrise views over the meadow of the Salem River Wildlife Management Area and former golf course.
$150/night (+6.625% NJ sales tax +5% hotel tax).
Yvonne and Jim were wonderful hosts. Yvonne made sure we had clear instructions to get there, in case gps sent us astray. She and her husband were extremely friendly. Breakfast was included and Yvonne set a table on the deck – she really was great! Our stay was very quite peaceful – exactly what we were looking for. I wouldn’t change a thing. We will be back with our kids soon, so we can take advantage of the kayak! And we even left with fresh blueberries. Thank you again, for everything!

We had a Five Star evening at the Salem River Inn. It was wonderful connecting with friends as we dined at a special event. We had booked a room so we wouldn’t have a long drive home late at night. Yvonne was so helpful and made us feel right at home. After dinner we walked upstairs to our room and had a peaceful rest. In the morning we were greeted with coffee and breakfast. Our room was amazing overlooking the River. We would love to stay here again!

Peaceful Paradise at the end of the Road! Wonderful stay in Salem! I usually stay in a hotel in Millville area as I come into work with schools in Bridgeton. This was a super experience – the room with a view and a walk on the beach was a fantastic way to end the day. It was clean, beautifully appointed, easy to get take out or have food delivered. Best part- the hosts Yvonne and Jim were so easy to communicate with, checked in with me, made amazing coffee! And we wonderful host. I will be coming back!

Growing up in the area, it was amazing to find a place you feel right at home to stay at when returning for a short visit. The beautiful views of the Delaware River both day and night from our accommodations were unbelievable.
Thank you for making the 1st trip back since Rodney retired – 3 years – very enjoyable. Love the accommodations! Everything was very nice. We enjoyed meeting ya’ll.
